Dump and Chase: Grasping for the Beanpot

As Beanpot Monday approaches, we look at recent history, NU’s tortured past and the Greg Cronin stick toss as we set the scene for this years Beanpot.

This tournament should be called “The Boston University Invitational”. lets get real here, NU does not have a remote chance this year. The huskies would need to come up HUGE offensively in order to get a chance. I’m taking about scoring 6 to 9 goals in favor of NU to compensate for the goals against teams like BU and BC. Every year there is a bit of hope come the second Monday in February for NU to bring that pot to Huntington Ave but not this year.
